Deepen and refine your Yin practice in this small-group, 4-week series designed for experienced students. This context will allow for us to explore subtler and more complex practices than are typically experienced in a public class setting. In this series, you will learn to attune to your own subtle energetic needs, and learn skills and practices that will allow you to personalize your Yin yoga practice at home and in public classes. This is also an opportunity to receive continued, individualized instruction from a skilled and intuitive teacher.
Through discussion, practice, and self-inquiry exercises, we will:
- Explore deeper energetics of the practice through work with meridians, chakras, and pranayama
Practice more complex, targeted sequences
Refine our ability to notice and respond to energetic imbalances
Workshop specific poses and adapt them to individual needs
Experience therapeutic applications of Yin yoga
Learn how to build & sustain a home practice
Prerequisite: 6 months of Yin yoga practice, or permission of the instructor.
